Professional Bio

tiny22.jpgAs a Senior Account Executive at Powell Tate in Washington, DC, Christine hones communication campaigns for clients in both the food industry and health care. She specializes in issues management and stakeholder engagement, using qualitative and quantitative methodology to profile influencers, allies, and competitors for clients. She also serves as the U.S. Army’s Day-to-Day Account Lead, responsible for messaging, partnerships coordination, media outreach and conference planning. Her work with Weight Watchers secures opportunities for senior leadership through conferences and partnerships. She also has experience in healthcare advocacy - creating media relations toolkits that equip public health professionals, patient advocates, and educators with the information, strategies, and resources necessary to engage media or sway policymakers’ decisions. She oversees her firm's food practice social media presence and is frequently tapped to design infographics, write blogs, and lay out websites. Recently, she facilitated the launch of a client’s new business model.

Before her time counseling athletes, Christine held a range of positions at the United States Department of Agriculture’s (UDSA) Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging, including Study Coordinator, Intern Supervisor, and Lab Technician. Her expertise extended to isolating DNA, sequencing genotypes, bomb calorimetry, and statistical analysis of market trends in both portion sizes and restaurant calorie labeling. In addition, she drafted bilingual study protocol and forms for review by the Institutional Review Board, and served as a translator for Spanish-speaking study participants.

Christine graduated with a Master of Science in Nutrition Communications from the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from Tufts University.
