As I train, I’m committed to raising money for Oceanites and eventually run The Antarctic Marathon on March 7th! You can help by donating!
The money we raise for Oceanites goes towards fostering the conservation of the world’s oceans, islands, and their wildlife; as well as encouraging an appreciation of the sensitive connections we humans have to our environment, and strengthening the support behind sustainability measures.
Your donation works twofold! A portion of every dollar you donate will go towards this charity and a portion will go towards funding my marathon expenses.
Your gift is tax-deductible! Your donation will be received by ChildrenComeFirst, a 501(c)3 educational nonprofit corporation, with whom I am interning while I train for my marathons. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt from them.
You’ll be with me on marathon day! The only way I can reach my goal to run a marathon on each continent while spreading awareness for Oceanites, is with your help. I have no illusions on that count. You determine my success in this endeavor. Without your support, I run in place, and go nowhere. To show my heartfelt appreciation for your contribution, I’ll be making a custom shirt with every donor’s name printed on it. I’ll wear it proudly on race day. You will run Antarctica with me, because I can by no means go it alone.
